CONTINUITY.

Noun: the unbroken and consistent existence or operation of something over a period of time.

It has been a (long) while since I have written anything. Perhaps because for the first time in my life I have actually been adulting; rent, bills, groceries, housework…it is all a little exhausting and time consuming. That being said, I truly want to get back into writing and not just by correcting my boyfriend’s emails (yes we are still together).
I am twelve days away from my birthday. It always seems a good time to stop, reflect and re-evaluate life. There are SO many things I want to accomplish this year. Rather than fear aging I seem to be embracing it with open arms. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, a few of my favorite quotes as of lately…

Learn the art of saying ‘No.’ Don’t lie. Don’t make excuses. Don’t over-explain yourself. Just   simply decline. — Unknown

Never leave a friend behind. Friends are all we have to get us through this life–and they are the only things from this world that we could hope to see in the next. — Dean Koontz

Write her a letter, send her a flower, love only gets old if you let it. — William Chapman

I don’t chase people anymore. I learned that I’m here, and I’m important. I’m not going to run after people to prove that I matter. — Unknown

Be selective in your battles. Sometimes peace is better than being right. — Unknown
